Job summary

Cook Trading Limited in Cheam is seeking a Christmas Driver to join our Retail Team for casual delivery work. You will deliver meals to customers’ homes, prioritise safety, and follow the driver handbook. The position offers a supportive team, flexible hours, and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Cat B licence required
• 2+ years driving experience preferred
• Aged 25+ for Insurance purposes

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to customers’ homes safely and on time
• Plan routes and communicate delays to customers and office
• Maintain vehicle safety and comply with traffic regulations
• Complete all paperwork at end of shift

The Role

• Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
• Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
• Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits
• Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence. Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
