Job summary

COOK in Ashtead is hiring a Driver to deliver groceries to customers' homes on a Christmas casual basis. You will plan routes, deliver safely, and keep paperwork up to date, ensuring customers are informed of any delays.

The role offers a pay rate of £13.45 per hour and requires a valid UK manual driving licence (Cat B) with at least two years of driving experience. Aged 25+ is preferred for insurance; benefits include staff discounts and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years driving experience.
• Aged 25+ for insurance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the driver handbook.
• Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating delays or issues to the office.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner, complying with traffic regulations including speed limits.
• Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

The Role

  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
