Job summary

Cook Trading Limited is seeking a Christmas Casual Driver in Oxted to join our retail team. You will deliver our products to customers' homes, provide excellent service and work within our driver handbook safety rules.

The role focuses on safe driving, route planning, and timely communication with the office. A Cat B UK driving licence and willingness to work flexible hours are required for this seasonal position.

Qualifications

• CS experience and a friendly, helpful approach.
• Deliveries carried out safely following driver handbook guidance.
• Ability to plan routes and communicate delays promptly.
• Awareness of safety and traffic rules when driving.

Responsibilities

• Offer remarkable service; customer remains the priority.
• Carry out deliveries safely per driver handbook.
• Plan routes for efficient, timely deliveries; inform office of delays.
• Drive safely, obey traffic laws and speed limits.
• Complete and return paperwork at end of each shift.

Pay rate :£13.45 Per Hour

The Role

• • Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.

  • Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.

  • Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.

  • Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits

  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
