Job summary

Cook Trading Limited is seeking drivers for the Chichester area to deliver our food to customers’ homes with a focus on friendly service and safety. The role offers casual hours and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

Successful candidates will hold a Cat B UK driving licence with at least two years of driving experience and be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes. We value potential and a positive, crew-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Role requires safe and timely home delivery with excellent customer service.
• Full UK manual driving licence (Cat B) required, with at least two years of driving experience.
• Applicants should be 25 or older to assist with insurance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely to customers' homes and workplaces.
• Plan efficient routes and communicate delays to the office team.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and hand it to the office at end of shift.

The Role

• • Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
  • Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
  • Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
  • Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits
  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
