Marks & Spencer Plc is hiring a Customer Assistant in Operations to keep our store running smoothly. You’ll manage stock, deliveries, and behind-the-scenes tasks to ensure shelves are full, clean and ready for customers.

This role requires physical stamina, a fast pace, and digital confidence to track deliveries and stock. You’ll work across the store with flexibility, supporting colleagues and staying focused to move products quickly.

• Must be 18 years or older.

Work Pattern

Wednesday: 04:00 - 11:00

Thursday: 10:00 - 17:00

Friday: 15:00 - 22:30

Please note that the + £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on any hours worked between 22:00-06:00.

Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.

You’ll be fast, focused, and always one step ahead, keeping the flow of products moving with urgency and accuracy.

Flexibility is vital. You’ll work across the wider store where needed – always keeping up with the pace and demands of retail.

Being digitally confident is essential. You’ll use digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently, always focused on availability and speed.

Being a team player is essential. You’ll be a key cog in a big machine, working across functions and supporting colleagues across the store.

Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you’ll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
