Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain CHP and gas-engine systems across a regional Midlands territory. The role offers a competitive package with overtime, bonus, a company van, and door-to-door travel pay.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults, perform planned maintenance and engine overhauls, and ensure equipment availability, performance and safety while delivering clear service reports to customers in the Midlands region.

Qualifications

• Power-generation, CHP or gas-engine service experience.
• Experience with Jenbacher, Caterpillar/MWM or MTU equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must be based in North West England.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair CHP and gas-engine systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults.
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and engine overhauls.
• Maintain equipment availability, performance and safety.
• Produce accurate service reports and communicate with customers.
