Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain CHP and gas-engine systems across the North East region. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance and ensure equipment availability and safety.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical fault finding, experience with Jenbacher, Caterpillar/MWM or MTU engines, and a valid UK driving licence. A competitive package includes overtime, a bonus and a company van.

Qualifications

• Power-generation, CHP or gas-engine service experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair CHP and gas-engine systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults.
• Complete planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Maintain equipment availability and safety.
• Produce service reports and communicate with customers.
