Job summary

White Recruitment Construction is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service and maintain CHP and gas-engine systems across a regional North East territory. The role offers up to £45,000 salary plus a package including paid overtime, a company van, and door-to-door travel pay.

Based in North-East England, you will service CHP and gas-engine equipment, diagnose faults and perform planned maintenance and overhauls while ensuring safety and reporting to customers.

Qualifications

• Power-generation, CHP or gas-engine service experience.
• Experience with Jenbacher equipment is essential.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must be based in North-East England.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair CHP and gas-engine systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults.
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and engine overhauls.
• Maintain equipment availability, performance and safety.
• Produce accurate service reports and communicate with customers.
