Job summary

Daikin UK is seeking a seasoned Chiller Service Engineer to cover Watford, Central London & Southeast. You will diagnose faults on screw, scroll and centrifugal chillers, visit customer sites and achieve first-time fixes with precision.

NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds in AC&R and full F-Gas are required; you will join a supportive team with a fully expensed van and tools. Benefits include 25 days leave, private medical insurance, cash back health plan and 7% employer pension contributions.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
• Full F-Gas certification is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience servicing and fault finding screw, scroll and centrifugal chillers.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites across the region and perform fault finding/diagnostics with high first-time fix accuracy.
• Provide telephone support to on-site Engineers via the helpdesk on a team rotation.
• Produce detailed reports for customers and the Regional Service Manager.

How Will You Make an Impact?

Working within an established team of Field Service Engineers, liaising closely with Service Coordinators, you will bring valuable contributions to service requirements amongst ourApplied products; Chillers & AHUs.

• Attending customer sites across the whole region and carrying out vigorous fault finding/diagnostics, with a great degree of accuracy for first time fix
• Providing telephone support to on-site Engineers via the helpdesk on a team rotation
• Produce detailed reports for customers and Regional Service Manager

About You:

As a strong communicator, you will be confident in conveying technical information to your customers. A technical problem solver who has a methodical and analytical approach that inherently aids issue resolution.

This role requires an NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and full F-Gas certification. Along with, well-established hands-on experiencein servicing, fault finding and repairing a range of screw, scroll and centrifugal Chillers.
