Danfoss is hiring a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer in the West Midlands (Field-Based) to diagnose faults, service and repair HVAC systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will work with chillers and hydrocarbon/CO systems, ensuring safe, compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Experience with chillers is required.
• C&G 2079 (F-Gas) qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair refrigeration, air conditioning and chiller systems.
• Service and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Work with refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller, hydrocarbon and CO systems.
• Complete service documentation and reports via company tablet.

Key Responsibilities

As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will provide exceptional service and technical support to customers across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning and chiller systems
• Servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Working with refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller, hydrocarbon and CO systems
• Completing service documentation and reports via company tablet
• Delivering outstanding customer service and technical support on-site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration and or Air Conditioning Service Engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with chillers
• Knowledge of CO and hydrocarbon refrigeration systems is advantageous but not essential
• C&G 2079 (F-Gas) qualification or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
