Esland in Warrington is seeking a full-time Children's Residential Support Worker at Honeysuckle Cottage. You will join a small, supportive team delivering trauma-informed care to young people aged 8 to 18.

The role includes emotional regulation support, safeguarding, and helping with daily routines, education access, and activities, with rolling shifts including sleep-ins paid.

Role: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Warrington

Contract: full time, permanent

Hours: two days and sleep nights on, four days off (rolling rota)

Pay: £33,682 to £34,305 per annum, depending on qualifications held* At Esland, we provide specialist trauma-informed care for children and young people aged 8 to 18 who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and complex trauma.

We are currently seeking a full-time Children's Support Worker to join our highly valued team at our solo home in Warrington.

About the role

You'll be part of a small, close-knit and supportive team. Your duties will include:

• Supporting your young person with emotional regulation, daily routines, and personal development
• Keeping detailed records and promote safeguarding at all times
• Supporting your young person with fun activities, their personal interests, education access and engagement and household responsibilities

*Estimated salary based on an a pay rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (days) and working 8 sleep nights per months on average, at £60 per sleep night.

What we're looking for

Experience within care, education, mental health support and/or youth activities is highly desirable, but we equally value transferrable skills and the right personality traits for the role.
