Job summary

Esland Group operates a Children’s Residential service at Snowdrop House in Huddersfield, seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker. The role offers a structured 2 days on, 4 days off rota, including sleep nights, with on-going opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates.

You will contribute to therapeutic care, support daily living, and education for young people, ensuring a safe, supportive environment in a 365-day service.

Compensation: £33,682 - £34,305 / year

Hours: 2 days on, 4 days off (with sleep nights). We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work. Rotas given in advance.

Pay rate: £33,682 to £34,305 per annum* (depending on qualification) with opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate.

Applicants must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Our Mirfield home is a solo service that offers a smaller setting for young people who need therapeutic placements.

Our team supports their young person with all of their domestic needs, education and socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together. Through our specialist skills and training, we ensure a high level of therapeutic care is provided.

Eligibility and Requirements

Due to industry regulations and role requirements, applicants must:

• Be 21 years old or above
• Hold right to work in the UK with no restrictions
• Hold a full, UK driving licence
