Pear Tree Cottage is a two-bed service which provides a calm and engaged environment for a young person that would benefit from a smaller home setting.
Using PACE principles and a child-led, therapeutic approach, we help children aged 8 to 18 to overcome adverse and traumatic experiences.
You'll be part of a group of like-minded individuals, working in a role that truly makes a difference. Our staff are able to build nurturing, trusting relationships with our young people and act as their professional parents. Your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
*Estimated salary based on an a pay rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (days) and £60 per sleep night (working 8 sleeps per month on average)
Experience within care, education, mental health support and/or youth activities is highly desirable, but we equally value transferrable skills and the right personality traits for the role.
