The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Care Worker to join our Residential team in Newport. You will support up to 3 young people in a nurturing, therapeutic home, building strong relationships and helping them grow through daily activities and learning opportunities.

The role is permanent, full-time with a 173-hour monthly pattern including sleep-ins. Salary ranges from £32,242 to £35,745 per year, plus sleep payments and overtime opportunities.

• Assist with educational planning and routes to reach individual development goals within our schools or settings.

Description

Salary: £32,242.00 to £35,745.00 per annum. (including 6 - 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (depending on qualification).Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Essential requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker:

• A full driving licence issued in the UK
• Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
• Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
• Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
• Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential
