Job summary

The Sycamores - Stafford, part of Esland, seeks a Children's Residential Support Worker to provide nurturing and therapeutic care for looked-after children in a warm, supportive home. You'll build trusting relationships, support daily living, and help young people engage in activities and education.

Requirements include a UK driving licence, right to work in the UK, being 21+, and a willingness to complete training; prior childcare experience is welcome.

Compensation

£33,357 - £33,980 / year

Salary

£35,122.00 to £35,745.00 per annum. (including 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour depending on qualification). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours

173 hours per month - shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Our beautiful solo home near Stafford offers a nurturing and therapeutic environment for our young people. Our team supports them with all of their domestic needs and socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together.
