Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd seeks a Children’s Residential Support Worker for our Stoke-on-Trent home. You will join a caring team in a 365-day service, supporting young people with daily living, routines, and personal development.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract, with shifts including nights, and a pathway to career progression within Esland. A full UK driving license and eligibility to work are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence issued in the UK.

• Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above.
• Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential.

Children's Residential Support Worker

Department: Residential

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Reporting To: Home Manager

Compensation: £32,242 - £32,865 / year

Description

Salary: £32,242.00 to £35,745.00 per annum. (including 6 - 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (depending on qualification).Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 1 days on, 2 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.
