Job summary

Active Assistance, part of the Active Care Group, is recruiting for a Children’s Support Worker in Rhyl. You will support a 4-year-old boy with complex health needs at his family home, with shifts including days and waking nights.

The role may start with hospital shifts in Rhyl before transitioning to home care under a Care Manager. You will receive specialist training, ongoing support, pension access, and a Refer a friend incentive up to £1,500, plus holiday pay accruing at 14.07% per hour

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex health needs is beneficial.
• Willingness to work day shifts and waking night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support a 4-year-old client with complex needs in his family home.
• Carry out shifts in hospital initially and then in the home as part of a consistent care team.
• Follow rota patterns and provide ongoing care and monitoring as directed by the Care Manager.

Our client has an acquired brain injury, epilepsy and PEG feed.We are looking for candidates that are confident, energetic and show initiative.**When you will be working:*** **Days and Waking Nights available*** **Morning shifts, Afternoon shifts and long day shifts*** **Waking night shifts (exact shift times to be confirmed)*** *In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
