Job summary

Active Assistance in Preston seeks a caring part-time support worker to help a 13-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and PEG feeding at her family home. You will work mornings (7am–9am) and evenings (3pm/4pm–9pm) on a flexible rota, with around 3–4 shifts weekly.

You'll join a dedicated care team, receive extensive training, ongoing support from a Care Manager and access to development resources. This role is offered on a zero-hours contract with holiday pay and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Role involves supporting a 13-year-old girl with complex needs at home.
• Experience with child care or similar support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning routines (7:00–9:00) and evening care (3:00/4:00–9:00) in the client’s home.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care and follow the care plan set by the family and Care Manager.
