Active Care Group is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist a 15-year-old girl with complex needs in her family home in Stockport. The role focuses on providing compassionate care on Thursday evenings (3pm-9pm) within a dedicated care team, ensuring continuity and safety.

The position is offered on a flexible, zero-hours basis with regular rotas, and includes extensive training and ongoing support from a Care Manager.

About the role:

This role is to support a 15 year old girl who has complex needs due to a traumatic brain injury. She is a wheelchair user, has epilepsy, a mini button for feeds and meds, non-verbal and communicates using makaton and her communication book. She lives at home with her family, and we provide support in the family home.

Shifts available:

Thursday evenings (3pm-9pm) Plus additional shifts to cover for other team members sickness/annual leave

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
