Job summary

Active Assistance is seeking a dedicated carer for overnights to support an 11-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and epilepsy in her Penarth family home. The role involves sleeping night shifts (10pm–8am), with options for part-time or full-time hours and a flexible rota.

Care will be delivered on a consistent team basis, under a dedicated Care Manager, with training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support. The role emphasizes safeguarding and compassionate, patient-centered care for a vulnerable

Qualifications

• Sleeps night shifts (10pm–8am) across child care duties.

Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, has a VP shunt, and is non-verbal and has behavioural challenges.This role is for sleeping night shifts, to support her during the night as and when needed.When you will be working:Sleeping nights (10pm-8am)Part time or Full time available, depending how many nights a week you are looking forIn this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
