Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking a Children's Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support in residential/community settings. You’ll help children and young people build confidence, independence and positive life choices.

The role requires driving, flexibility to work 2–3 shifts weekly, and an Enhanced DBS check. Join a team that supports safeguarding, training, and meaningful career progression.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Access to your own vehicle for work.
• Available to work a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week.
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, practical and trauma-informed care to children and young people.
• Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect.
• Support daily routines, education and life skills.
• Encourage hobbies, healthy routines and community participation.
• Transport young people to school, appointments and activities.
• Work with social workers, families and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding processes.
