Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help vulnerable children. You will provide compassionate, trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, promote healthy routines, and support education while encouraging life skills.

Applicants should have a driver’s licence, patience, and emotional resilience, with flexibility for nights, weekends and sleep-ins. A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, paid or voluntary.
• Full UK driver’s licence and your own car.
• Patience, empathy and emotional resilience.
• Flexible approach including waking nights, weekends and sleep-ins when required.
• A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported.
• Build positive relationships and promote healthy routines.
• Prepare meals, support education, and encourage life skills.
• Advocate for the child’s voice and ensure they feel heard and valued.
• Support medical appointments and community activities.
• Use your own vehicle to transport young people when needed.
• Help young people move forward with confidence into their next chapter.
