Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited seeks a Children\'s Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs in residential homes and community-based packages across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

You will become a positive role model, supporting daily routines, education and life skills while promoting independence and safe, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to complete Enhanced DBS check.
• Available for 2–3 shifts per week.
• Enhancement: NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, trauma-informed care to children and young people.
• Support daily routines, education and life skills.
• Build professional relationships with trust and respect.
• Transport to school, appointments and activities.
• Work with social workers, families and other professionals.
• Maintain records and contribute to safeguarding processes.
