Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy are recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for our Children's Social Work - Care & Learning Team in Birmingham. You will assess, plan and deliver child-focused interventions, working with families, schools and partner agencies to safeguard children's welfare.

We seek a social worker with a Degree in Social Work or DipSW, Registration with Social Work England, and solid experience in children’s social work within care and learning settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with Degree in Social Work or DipSW.
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Experience in children’s social work, especially in care and learning context.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
• Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in various settings.
• Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate records in line with statutory requirements.
• Participating in safeguarding investigations to prioritise children's welfare.
