Job summary

The Tiger Group Consultancy Ltd is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join a home in Stoke-on-Trent. You will help young people aged 8-16 build trust, routines, and independence within a stable, caring environment.

Salary £29,478 - £32,640 per annum, on a 2 on 4 off rota with a sleep-in on every shift. A Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare is preferred or you can work towards it. Training, progression, and wellbeing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (residential experience desirable).
• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
• Compassionate, reliable, and confident in challenging situations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

About the Role

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll be an essential part of a supportive and structured environment, helping young people feel safe, valued, and empowered. You'll be there through daily routines, challenging moments, and everything in between — always leading with care, consistency, and compassion.

Rota

• 2 on 4 off rolling rota
• Every shift includes a sleep in
