Purosearch Ltd is seeking a Registered Home Manager in Halifax to provide full operational leadership for a children’s home. You will lead and develop the care team to deliver outstanding care, oversee safeguarding, risk management and care planning, and ensure Ofsted compliant policies across the site.

The role demands strong leadership, direct experience in residential childcare, and a child-centred approach aimed at positive outcomes for young people.

Qualificações

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or similar and readiness to progress to Registered Manager.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and understanding of Ofsted requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full operational leadership and management of the children’s home.
• Lead, support and develop the care team to deliver outstanding care.
• Oversee care planning, safeguarding and risk management processes.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, policies and procedures.
• Liaise with education providers and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Promote the home with internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce reports and performance data in line with KPIs.
• Drive service quality and continuous improvement for young people.
• Contribute to organisational projects and development initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rota and provide management support when required.

Salary: Up to £78,000 per annum (inclusive of performance-related bonuses)

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards, if applicable).
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a minimum of two years' experience as a Deputy Manager ready to progress.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, children's legislation and Ofsted requirements.
• Experience working within trauma-informed and therapeutic care environments.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• A child-centred approach with a passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people.
• Full UK driving licence (if required by the organisation).
