Purosearch Ltd. is seeking an experienced residential childcare leader to oversee a team caring for children aged 8–18, ensuring OFSTED compliance and a safe, nurturing environment.

Candidates should hold Level 4 practitioner qualifications (England) or equivalent, with 2+ years in residential care and 1+ year in staff leadership. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Level 4/CYP Practitioner (England) or SCQF 7/HNC in Scotland or Level 3 Residential Childcare
• 2 years' experience in children's residential care (within last 5 years)
• 1+ years leading or supervising staff in residential care (within last 5 years)
• Strong safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and quality standards knowledge
• Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (England) or SCQF Level 10 Leadership & Management (Scotland)
• Exceptional understanding of safer recruitment practices
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of Therapeutic Parenting (desirable)
• Qualified or working towards Level 5/SCQF Level 10 Leadership & Management (desirable)

Salary: £46,331 - £52,123 per annum + 10% discretionary bonus

Candidate Requirements
