Children's Home Registered Manager, Leicester

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a passionate Registered Manager for a 3-bed children's residential home in Leicestershire, specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Location:

Leicester

Salary:

Up to £50,000 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus + 21% annual salary bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup and operation of the new home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, The Children Act 1989, and Children's Homes Regulations.
• Deliver child-focused care promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Develop care plans and strategic initiatives for outstanding outcomes.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and service development.
• Build strong relationships with external agencies to support safeguarding and care quality.
• Act as a positive role model, creating trusting relationships that drive recovery and growth.

About You:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar senior environment.
• Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce; working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience with budgets and financial management.
• Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
• Passionate leader committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
• Proven track record of achieving high Ofsted ratings.
