Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust’s Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke Hospital seeks a dynamic Children’s Epilepsy Nurse to join a growing team.

You will collaborate with the Epilepsy Nurse Specialist team to deliver high-quality nursing care to children and young people with epilepsy and to their families, acting as a link across primary, secondary and tertiary care within a multidisciplinary approach.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a paediatric focus.
• Experience in caring for children with epilepsy is desirable.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to children and young people with epilepsy.
• Collaborate with the Epilepsy Nurse Specialist team and other clinicians.
• Act as a liaison between primary, secondary and tertiary care within the MDT.
