Job summary

UHNM is looking for a dedicated Children's Epilepsy Nurse to join the Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke Hospital. The post requires experience in caring for children with epilepsy and entails working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

You will be supported by a Children's Epilepsy Nurse Specialist and will collaborate with primary, secondary and tertiary services to support families and carers, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Registered Children’s Nurse on the NMC Register.
• Epilepsy certificate PET 1 and 2 or willingness to undertake.
• Experience caring for children with epilepsy.
• IT and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for children with epilepsy and their families.
• Collaborate with the Epilepsy Nurse Specialist team to deliver care.
• Act as a point of contact between primary, secondary and tertiary care.
• Deliver best practice and evidence-based care for children with epilepsy.
