Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) is seeking a band 5 Children’s Epilepsy Nurse to join the Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke Hospital. You will care for children with epilepsy, working under the guidance of a Children's Epilepsy Nurse Specialist, and provide family-centered nursing within a multidisciplinary team.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, developing epilepsy-specific skills, and supporting patients and their families

Qualifications

• Registered Children’s Nurse on NMC Register.
• Experience caring for children with epilepsy.
• ENB 998 / Mentorship level 3 or equivalent or experience of teaching in the clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to children with epilepsy and their families.
• Collaborate with the Children’s Epilepsy Nurse Specialist team and MDT.
• Support and promote evidence-based care for pediatric epilepsy patients.
