Children’s Team Manager
Team: Family Safeguarding

Responsibilities
  • To manage the provision of field social work services to the local community by a team of social workers, ensuring that statutory requirements and departmental policies are complied with.
  • To provide a social work service to children in need and their families including those in need of protection.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • CQSW, DIPSW, BA HONS SW or equivalent
  • 3 years post qualifying experience in a field social work setting including substantial child protection experience
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in date DBS certificate
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to make good decisions based on information available
  • Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
  • Possess knowledge of service needs
  • Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
  • Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files
  • Flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
