Job summary

Club L London is seeking a technology leader to translate the CTO's strategy into a deliverable roadmap across development, IT and integration. You will lead the technology function, set standards, and own the budget while reporting performance to the CTO and senior leadership.

Responsibilities include delivering major programmes end-to-end, ensuring scalable software across e-commerce platforms, and maintaining secure, resilient IT operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership, managing multiple teams or disciplines.
• Proven experience leading managers in retail/e-commerce or high-traffic digital environments.
• Strong foundation in software delivery, APIs, cloud, CI/CD, and data platforms.
• Experience owning IT operations, security posture, and infrastructure at scale.
• Commercially astute with budget ownership and vendor negotiations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate the CTO's technology strategy into an executable roadmap and deliver it across development, IT, and integration.
• Lead and develop the technology function, setting direction, standards, and priorities across teams.
• Own the technology budget, forecasting, cost efficiency, and report performance to CTO and leadership.
• Act as senior escalation point for delivery, incidents, and operational risk across the estate.
• Oversee technology delivery portfolio, prioritisation, planning, resourcing, and reporting across all workstreams.
• Establish a pragmatic delivery framework and manage cross-team dependencies and timelines.
• Own IT & infrastructure including cloud platforms, identity, networking, and service desk.
• Set integration and architecture standards for data flows across systems.
• Lead major technology programmes end-to-end (platform migrations, ERP/WMS) within scope, time, budget.
