Job summary

MOO is seeking a VP of Technology to lead the technology organisation through transformative change. You will modernise the ecommerce platform, align it with post-purchase and manufacturing systems, and set the technical direction with the executive team.

You’ll build a high-performing team, establish standards, and partner with Product, Commercial, and Operations to translate strategy into delivery. This is a senior, growth-focused opportunity in London.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of senior leadership with experience managing managers.
• Proven ability to drive a step-change in pace and performance.
• Executive-level contributor who helps shape company strategy and technical direction.
• Experience operating with boards and investors in growth or investor-backed businesses.
• Breadth across customer-facing ecommerce and back-office/operational systems.
• Experience modernising a significant platform toward service-based or headless architecture.
• Talent for building high-performing teams and investing in people growth.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development and modern SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Represent technology at the top of the business and own the technology strategy and budget.
• Lead the technology functions across ecommerce storefront, post-purchase, fulfilment, and manufacturing IT.
• Set pace, raise ambition, and provide air cover for engineers to deliver quickly.
• Build and grow a high-performing team, shaping engineering culture and org design.
• Partner with Product, Commercial, and Operations to translate strategy into delivery plans.
• Drive platform modernisation of the ecommerce stack and integrations with backend systems.
• Raise engineering quality, reliability, and throughput across the organisation.
• Lead responsible AI adoption with guardrails and measurable value.
