Job summary

TKMS Atlas UK seeks a System Design Authority to lead technical ownership from concept to in-service support for submarine systems. You will collaborate with product managers, customers, and internal engineering teams to shape high-level architectures and drive bids and proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience across product lifecycles, systems design, analysis, testing, and deployment.
• Ability to translate requirements into high-level architectures and system specifications.
• Strong communication skills with customers, military staff, and cross-functional teams.
• Eligible for full UK SC clearance; non-UK applications discouraged as per project constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership from concept through in-service support and updates.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to promote AEUK capabilities and engage customers.
• Prepare technical proposals and support Bid Managers in tenders and quotes.
• Oversee allocated initiatives and ensure timely, compliant deliveries per plan.
• Coordinate with divisions to align research with development roadmaps.
