Job summary

Thales in the UK is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the architecture design for Mine Counter Measures projects. You will define architectures, align HW and SW, and work with stakeholders across bid, project, testing and installation teams.

The role requires strong leadership, system engineering expertise, and knowledge of UK MOD standards, with the ability to drive architecture decisions, manage requirements and ensure design compliance throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team-working skills.
• Ability to define and use system engineering tools for modelling and requirements management.
• Experience with a range of IT tools and configuration control processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, promote and deliver architectures for MCM projects.
• Analyse customer needs and assess solution architecture and technical choices.
• Develop and manage requirements specifications for system and subsystems.
• Understand development lifecycle and support gated reviews.
• Interface with the client to define standards and architectural frameworks.
