Job summary

Sky News is seeking a Head of Audience Analytics & Insights. You will lead the whole audience intelligence chain, from measurement to recommendations that shape editorial, product, platform and commercial decisions.

You’ll unify Analytics and Insight into one high-performing function across broadcast and digital platforms. You’ll drive strategy, governance and senior stakeholder engagement, while managing a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading audience data, analytics or insight functions in media or consumer businesses.
• Deep understanding of audience analytics, content metrics, consumer behaviour and measurement frameworks.
• Proven ability to embed evidence-led decision-making and turn complex analysis into clear recommendations and organisational action.
• Strong senior stakeholder-management and communication skills, with ability to explain uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Own Sky News’ audience measurement framework, definitions and analytical principles.
• Lead recurring performance reporting, diagnostics and deep dives across platforms.
• Translate analytics into practical recommendations and track adoption and impact.
• Lead senior performance conversations and translate evidence for editorial and non-technical audiences.
• Set strategic priorities for analytics, reducing duplicate reporting and focusing on high-value questions.
• Develop Analytics and Insight managers and analysts to build a high-performing function.
