Job description

Contract Type: Permanent - Term Time Only

Working Hours: 37 hours per week - 7:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Worker Type: On-Site worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £26,824 (Level 1) rising to £27,694 (Level 3) per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Location: Glade Hill Primary School, Chippenham Road, Nottingham NG5 5TA

About the Role

As a Chef Supervisor your main duties will be to deal with all aspects of day to day running of the school kitchens from planning to delivery. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment used.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience of cooking for large groups, including the menu planning, ordering, cooking and serving
  • Ability to manage a team and deliver training and guidance
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines and understanding COSHH procedures
  • A DBS enhanced check is required for this post for a regulated activity.
