Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Chef in Cwmbran (NP44 4YZ) to prepare and deliver high-quality meals, maintaining food safety and customer service standards. The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, 40 hours per week, and a term-time-only contract.

The ideal candidate has chef experience, a passion for quality food, strong hygiene knowledge, and the ability to work well in a busy kitchen with good teamwork and time management. UK-right-to-work required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Chef or in a similar catering role.
• Passion for producing high-quality food.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organised and able to manage time effectively.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to a high standard
• Supporting menu planning and food production
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Managing stock rotation and assisting with stock control
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Working closely with the wider catering team to ensure an efficient service
• Completing relevant food safety records and documentation
• Supporting the delivery of a positive dining experience for customers
• Following all health and safety and company procedures
