Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Chef to join our team at RM Condor, DD11 3SP. You will prepare and deliver high-quality meals in a busy catering operation, upholding safety, hygiene and customer service standards.

The role offers 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with a starting rate of £13.32 per hour and opportunities for training and progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Passion for producing high-quality food.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to a high standard.
• Supporting daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Ensuring food is prepared in line with recipes, specifications, and dietary requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Supporting stock control, stock rotation, and storage procedures.
• Minimising food waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Completing relevant kitchen records and due diligence documentation.
• Working collaboratively with the wider catering team.
• Following all company policies and health & safety procedures.
