Job summary

Aramark UK in Swindon is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead a busy catering operation, delivering exceptional food and service for our clients. You will manage daily kitchen operations, lead a motivated team, plan menus, and drive quality and hygiene standards in line with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar catering management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience managing food costs, budgets, and stock control.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily operation of the kitchen and catering service
• Leading, motivating, and developing a team to deliver exceptional food and customer service
• Producing fresh, high-quality food in line with client expectations
• Planning menus and supporting promotional catering activities
• Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Monitoring food costs and ensuring budget targets are achieved
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the catering operation
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
