Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking an innovative Chef Manager to lead a small team on the JCB estate in Wrexham. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee day-to-day operations, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.

You will motivate and develop the management team, ensure health and safety compliance, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen with P&L management, budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organisation, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with company vision and values.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including day-to-day management, resource allocation, and process optimisation.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss accountability, and cost control initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the management team and staff, conducting regular appraisals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, health and safety legislation, and company policies across all operations.
