Job summary

Bvsg Ev in Penrith, Cumbria, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen for the summer season and beyond. You will run your own section, preparing and cooking high-volume street food-style dishes to a consistently high standard.

The role offers £18.00 per hour, free live-in accommodation and a minimum 45-hour week, with extra hours available. The successful candidate will thrive under pressure, keep the kitchen organized, and work closely with the Head Chef and team.

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen.
• Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Running your own kitchen section during prep and service.
• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard.
• Maintaining quality, speed, and presentation during busy service.
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Minimising waste and keeping your section organised and clean.
• Supporting and working closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team.
