Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Limited in East Devon is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join a professional hotel kitchen team. You will manage your designated section, maintain high standards and support Senior and Head Chefs in daily operations.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary from £32,110 per annum and live-in accommodation available from November. English proficiency and strong kitchen hygiene are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hotel, restaurant or professional kitchen environment.
• A relevant catering qualification is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to high hotel standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients and presentation.
• Support Head and Senior Chefs to run the kitchen efficiently.
• Supervise and develop Commis Chefs.
• Control stock levels and minimise waste.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent dining.
