We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the brigade at a unique, food-focused hospitality business in Surrey.
This is a particularly good opportunity for a chef who wants to cook properly, continue learning and gain experience across more than just standard restaurant service.
The operation is incredibly varied, combining a quality restaurant and hotel environment with weddings, events and private functions, giving the kitchen team exposure to several different styles of cooking and service.
Everything revolves around fresh, seasonal food and quality ingredients, with an experienced senior kitchen team in place to help chefs continue developing.
You'll take responsibility for your own section while working closely with the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team.
You'll be involved across mise en place, restaurant service, functions and events, giving you much broader experience than you'd typically get from working the same section and menu every day.
The kitchen is looking for chefs who care about what they're cooking and want to continue improving their skills.
You'll ideally have experience as a Chef de Partie within a fresh-food kitchen, although a talented Demi CDP ready to take the next step would also be considered.
You could be coming from a restaurant, quality pub, hotel or events background – the attitude and fundamentals are more important than having exactly the same experience.
You'll need:
For a CDP who wants to build their CV, it's a great environment because you'll gain experience across restaurant service, hotel dining and significant events, while still working a sensible 40–45 hour week.
A really strong opportunity for someone who wants good food, variety, development and a life outside the kitchen.
