A vibrant hospitality company is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their energetic team in Skegness. The successful candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensure high food safety standards, and train commis chefs. About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions. Responsible for a specified section of the kitchen, you will ensure the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, following set recipe specifications and brand standards. You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of the food proposition in accordance with food safety policy. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to enhance your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior levels.
In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage and oversee daily operations in your section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies. You will maintain a clean and organised workstation, always adhering to health and safety regulations, demonstrating these responsibilities as a standard to the Commis Chefs you lead, train, and mentor with guidance and support as needed. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes with pre-approved recipes, completing relevant daily food diaries, and controlling budget margins with the support of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to deliver high standards in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.
