Job summary

Hastings Hotels is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join the Everglades Hotel kitchen in Northern Ireland. You will work under the Head Chef to develop skills and contribute to a high-quality catering operation, with shifts six days a week and a typical pattern from early to late.

The salary is £30,000 per annum, paid weekly, with benefits including staff meals and holidays. We value our people and offer progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience at a similar level in a high quality catering operation.
• NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking and a recognised current Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom; sponsorship may be considered for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the kitchen to ensure Hastings standards of preparation and presentation are maintained.
• Supervise kitchen employees to ensure efficient operation.
• Promote a harmonious working environment with respect and dignity.
• Ensure stock control procedures are understood and followed.
• Train and coach junior Kitchen team for effective service.
• Maintain communication with other hotel departments and suppliers.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and security standards are met.
• Prepare breakfasts and desserts.
