Job summary

Hand Picked Hotels is seeking a Chef de Partie for Crathorne Hall Hotel in North Yorkshire. The role involves managing a kitchen section, collaborating with Head and Sous Chefs to deliver consistently excellent dishes, and maintaining hygiene and mise en place to the highest standard.

You will support junior team members, assist with menu preparation for private dining and events, and contribute to a warm, team-focused kitchen environment in a full-time role scheduled across 5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a quality hotel or restaurant environment.
• Good understanding of running a section and maintaining high culinary standards.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine passion for food, learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a designated kitchen section and support delivery of a high standard culinary experience.
• Work with Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare, cook and present dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety; ensure mise en place is completed to a high level.
• Support junior team members and assist with menu preparation for private dining and events.
