Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge, London, is seeking a Chef De Partie to join our luxury restaurant team. You will help run a kitchen section, support the Sous Chef, and ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene.

You will supervise junior cooks, assist with stock planning and labeling, and contribute to an efficient, fast-paced service. The role offers contracted hours, competitive pay up to £17 per hour, and access to staff benefits including leave and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a 5* hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Ability to supervise junior cooks and work across kitchen sections.
• Strong time-management skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Good PC literacy is a must.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of a kitchen section and provide direction to the team.
• Support the Sous Chef and other team members to meet daily operational needs.
• Assist management with stock planning, forecasting, orders, and labeling.
• Organise stock rotation and ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene.
