Job summary

Wadworth's The George Inn in Lacock is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our historic kitchen. You will own your section, support junior team members and help deliver high-quality dishes that keep guests returning for more.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, line chef or a similar role is preferred.
• Passion for fresh food and high standards of service.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and be responsible for your kitchen section during service.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to specification and high standards.
• Maintain quality, consistency and presentation at all times.
• Mentor Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to develop their skills.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with stock control, rotation and waste minimisation.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
• Contribute ideas to the ongoing success of the kitchen operation.
